Where Can I Park?

You can park your car at the north end of Horse Pens 40. When you arrive, you will see signs pointing this out. There is a $10 parking fee


Alcohol & Cooler Policies

For those persons over the age of 21 this is a BYOB event.  Large coolers are required to be left at campsites, however small coolers are allowed inside the amphitheater and pavilion.  Horse Pens 40 has a very strict NO GLASS policy.  CukoRakko has a very strict NO GLASS policy.  We request glass bottles be left at home or inside of an automobile.


Box Office Hours

The box office and gate opens at 8:00am on Friday and will remain open until the event is over.


Refund Policy

NO REFUNDS. We are a rain or shine event.


Pets

While we love our pets! There are NO PETS permitted. It is against the polices of Horse Pens 40. SERVICE ANIMALS SPECIFICALLY TRAINED TO AID A PERSON WITH A DISABILITY ARE WELCOME GRANTED BONAFIDE PAPERWORK.


Will campfires be allowed?

Campsites are first come, first serve basis.  Campfires are allowed at sites with existing fire pits. Horse Pens 40 allows above ground fire pits or grills to be used.


Can I bring my golf cart or ATV to CukoRakko Music & Arts Festival?

No!  Only Horse Pen 40 staff and certain volunteers are allowed to operate service carts.


Are there showers available within the park?

There are two shower locations within the park. We ask that you strategically plan your showers throughout the course of the day for optimal shower availability.


How is the weather in Steele, Al. this time of year?

For the CukoRakko Springfest the average temperature high is 81* and low is 58*.

For the CukoRakko Fallfest the average temperature high is 75* and low is 51*.


We are kid friendly!

Kids 10 years of age and under are free.  ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.

Festival organizers have revealed the initial lineup for CukoRakko Music & Arts Festival, which returns Horse Pens 40 in Steele, AL for the fourth consecutive year on May 5th – 7th. The bi-annual, grassroots music and arts festival has seen tremendous growth with each year, and 2017 looks to be no exception.  SpringFest will feature CukoRakko veterans Col. Bruce Hampton & The Madrid Express, as well as Zach Deputy, The Funky Knuckles, Broccoli Samurai, Soul Mechanic, Little Raine BandPermagrooveImperial BlendVoodoo VisionaryDirk Quinn BandRoxy RocaSupatight, and Rescue Dogs.
